Loretto Horrigan Leary

Originally from County Galway, Ireland, Loretto Leary now resides in Connecticut with her husband.

 

Loretto is a former middle school language arts teacher and currently works in digital media and freelance journalism.

She is the youngest of eight children and her writing is instilled with dark Irish humor. 

 

Loretto's published work can be found in Australia's Irish Scene, Yahoo.com, Irish Central, New Square Literary Magazine,  Prometheus Dreaming, and The MacGuffin. She has self-published two novels and two novellas.

 

Her third novel Tarmac Cowboy is currently being submitted to agents. Loretto’s follow-up novel to The Foundling, Stained Glass, will be self-published in 2021 and the third book in the series, More Beautiful Broken, will follow in 2023.
